HSBC UK Go-Ride Holiday Coaching Camps offer training
and education dedicated to specific levels of rider over a
range of disciplines.
The Camp will take place on an enclosed grass area at the
Leisure Centre so a mountain or hybrid style bike with grippy
tyres will be best suited for this Camp.
Camps are available at two levels.
If your child is new to cycling or not a regular at a club or
races then the beginner’s camps are for them. These offer
the participant a chance to develop and become proficient
at a range of core cycling and bike handling techniques that
will prepare them for their first club session or race.
If your child has experience of racing and is a Go-Ride Club
regular then there are advanced camps. There will be the
chance to improve on the skills developed at their club as
well as look at techniques across disciplines that will progress
your child to the next level of their cycling journey.
Please bring a working bike (suitable for riding on grass),
helmet, gloves, packed lunch, snacks, plenty of drinks,
suncream, waterproofs, spare dry kit, puncture repair kit or
spare inner tubes. Optional items to bring are a picnic
blanket or deck chair. The café in the Leisure Centre will also
